Voicemail

Voice mail service provides an auto-reply system and helps record messages to your phone and when there are calls and when it is not convenient for you to answer the phone. Each voice mail has its own code, ensuring privacy, in which just you can access the mail box and listen to voice messages in it.

The mail box has two languages: Vietnamese and English.

All mobile subscribers of MobiFone.

Step 1: Register Call Divert service at Transaction Centers of MobiFone nationwide.

Step 2: Depending on situation that you want to divert call to voice mail, set by actions in your phone's key board as follows:

Step 3: Register voice mail:

  • Method 1:

    When a subscriber call you (divert to voice mail set), your voice mail shall be registered automatically and send a confirm message to your phone with a default pass word as 1234.

  • Method 2:
    • Call voice mail manage number 981, dial 1 to confirm registration.
    • Select language for voice mail: dial 1 for Vietnamese or dial 2 for English.
    • After successfully register, a confirm message shall be sent to your phone with a default password as 1234.

Step 1: Access voice mail

There are two methods to access:

  • Method 1: Use your number to dial 981, enter registered password (if it is activated) and action as instructed...
  • Method 2: Use any mobile or fixed number to dial 0908 222222, enter your number and password, then action as instruction.

Step 2: Listen to the message and other actions.

  • If you have new messages, they shall be played one by one.
  • After listening to messages, you can:
    • Dial 1 to listen again
    • Dial 2 to delete message -> dial 1 to confirm, dial 2 cancel.
    • Dial 3 to call the number                                                                                                
    • Dial 4 to reply the message
    • Dial 5 to forward the message
    • Dial 6 to save the message
    • Dial # to listen to the next message
    • Dial * to return to the main menu.

There are two methods:

Method 1:

  • Call a number activating voice mail connection. If the subscriber is off, out of coverage, busy or not answer, the voice mail shall instruct the caller to leave a message and ask to record after an alert sound.
  • Dial # to stop recording
  • Dial 1 to send message or hang up.

Method 2: 

Call voice mail number and send message to a subscriber (even when that subscriber does not divert call to voice mail) as follows:

  • Use MobiFone number to call 982, enter number to be sent message, and press #.
  • Record message. After recording, dial 1 or hang up to send message.

    Set personal welcome note:

    + List available welcome notes of the subscriber.

    + Record new welcome note:

    + Set welcome note by name

    + Set default welcome note

    + Manage welcome note of banned list

    + To listen this menu again

    + Return to this menu

When you are in options menu, dial * to return previous menu.

  • Method 1: Action Cancel divert to voice mail as instruction table in Section 3.1.
  • Method 2: If you do not use the service for more than 60 days, it shall be automatically canceled.
