Miss Call Alert

MobiFone's Missed Calls Alert (MCA) service enables you to keep contact with friends even when you turn off the phone or when you are out of coverage or your phone is out of battery.

When your mobile phone is not available for service, the system will store the phone number and time of miss calls. When you phone is turned on, you will receive the system's SMS notification.

You can setup the option allowing sending SMS to the caller when your phone is off. MobiFone's callers shall receive notification from the system. SMS notification is setup by you.

Service fee: VND2,500đ/15-day block (since 07/05/2009).

Note: You must log in before using this service!

1. Introduction

Missed Calls Alert (MCA) service of MobiFone helps you know information of missed calls to your phone (even when you are Roaming at abroad) in following cases:

  • When your mobile phone is off or out of battery

  • When you are out of coverage

2. Benefits of MCA

  • You will not miss any calls even when your mobile phone is off, out of battery or out of coverage.

  • Even when you are at abroad, you are still able to look up information about missed calls.

4.      Instructions of service

4.1.   Registration of the service

Subscribers can Register for this service by choosing one of the following options:

4.2.   Termination of registration

Subscribers can Terminate registration for this service by choosing one of the following options:

4.4.   Auto reply function

+ Introduction: Auto Reply function helps you set up auto-reply news to the subscribers to send to the calling subscribers (for calling subscribers of MobiFone) when your mobile phone is off, out of battery or out of coverage.

+ Instruction:

Ø  Install/Turn off the function

You can install/Turn off the Auto-Reply function by one of the two following methods:

  • Method 1 : Send SMS to 9232

    In which <Auto-reply content> is the content of the auto-reply news that you composed to send to the calling subscribers.

    In this part, you can register/ not to register auto-reply function.

Ø  Create/edit auto-reply content 

You can create, edit the content of auto-reply news by:

Choose Added-value service/Missed Calls Alert/MCA account management/Register information – edit/Auto-reply content.

Ø  Create auto-reply group:

You can register/not to register to create auto-reply group by:

You can Add/Remove auto-reply groups and Add/Remove phone numbers in the auto-reply groups by:

4.5.   Alert when customers assess again

+ Introduction: The system will send alert SMS automatically to calling subscribers (for calling subscriber of MobiFone) when you assess again (your phone is turned on or in coverage, etc.)

+ Instruction:

You can install/turn off the function by one of the two following methods:

  • Method 1: Send SMS to 9232

    In this part, you can register/not to register the function Alert when assessing again.

You can Add/Remove numbers to be sent Alert when assessing again by:

5.   Fees

5.1.   Fee for SMS to 9232: Free

5.2.   Subscription fee:  VND  2,500 /15 days

Principle for subtracting in your account:  subscription fee will be subtracted after you successfully register and will continue to be subtracted after every 15 days.

  • For post-payment subscribers: Subscription fee will be listed in monthly bill.

  • For per-payment subscribers:  Subscription fee will be subtracted in main account.

5.3.   Fee for receiving Missed Calls Alert news: Free

Note : Fee for receiving Missed Calls Alert will be charged when you are roaming at abroad to client network that charge for receiving SMS.

6.      Promotion

Register Missed Calls Alert (MCA) service of MobiFone to get a promotion of 60 free intranet SMS within two months.

Time for application: From 0h00 of 29th June 2010 until the end of 24h00 of 31st July 2010.

Condition for participation: Any subscribers that have not used Missed Calls Alert service or those that have used the service but cancelled before 0h00 of 29th June 2010.

Level of promotion: 60 intranet SMS within 2 months.

Registration: Compose: DK send 9232.

7.      Regulations on service lock/open

7.1.   Regulations on receiving Missed Calls Alert news:

You will receive Missed Calls Alert news when your subscriber is activating two ways.

7.2.    Regulations on service lock/open: The service you are using will be locked in one of the following cases:

  • When the two-way contact of the subscriber is locked.

    In order to activate the Missed Calls Alert service again when your subscriber  activate two-way, you should register the service again (as instruction in section 4.1).

  • When it comes to the time for charging but the balance in your main account is less than VND 2,500 (two thousand five hundred Vietnam Dong).
