I. Service Introduction

MSearch is a service for searching information on mobile phone which allows MobiFone subscribers to search necessary information on News, Locations, Images, Mp3 music, Stories, Handbooks, Lottery, Securities, Soccer, and Dictionaries on their terminal devices.

II. Target users: All subscribers using two-way service of MobiFone network.  

III. Service instruction:

Customers can use the service via SMS or via MSearch application software.

3.1  Via SMS:

To use the service via SMS, you don’t have to register or set up service; contents for searching include: Dictionaries, Locations, and Advertisements.

3.1.1.   Dictionaries 

·               To look up dictionaries, compose TD [Dictionary] [Word to look up] and send to 9248

·               Supported dictionaries with respective codes are as follows:

o      English - Vietnamese: ev

o      Vietnamese - English: ve

o      English - English: ee

o      Vietnamese - Vietnamese: vv

o      French - Vietnamese: fv

o      Vietnamese - French: vf

For example: To look up the word "home" in English - Vietnamese dictionary, compose SMS “TD ev home” and send to 9248.

3.1.2.  Location

·               To look for location, compose DD [Enquiry] and send to 9248

·               For example: if you want to look for karaoke locations in Ho Chi Minh City, compose SMS “DD karaoke HCM”. The results shall be karaoke locations in Ho Chi Minh City.
Or if you want to have more accurate information, just compose: “DD karaoke Nguyen Dinh Chieu HCM”. The results shall be karaoke locations in Nguyen Dinh Chieu Street, Ho Chi Minh City.

3.1.3.   Advertisements

·               To look for information, compose RV [Enquiry] and send to 9248

·                For example: if you want to look for advertisements for "Iphone" in Hanoi, you can compose SMS below: “rv iphone HN”. The results shall be advertisements on Iphone in Hanoi.

Note:

·               The accuracy of results depends much on enquiry of customers.

·                In your enquiry, you should briefly describer location and the place you want to look for this location.

·                The number of locations found shall be from 4 to 8 results. If these results have not met your requirements then you can compose SMS with other enquiry contents.

3.2 Via application software

3.2.1. Instructions on setting application software

·              Customer can download and setup MSearch application following one of two methods below:

·                After installing MSearch to terminal device, the software shall be displayed in the application section with icon:

·               Depending on each model of terminal device, application software is installed in different locations, specifically as follows:

·               Note: For terminal devices using Vietnamese, the software will still locate in locations as above with respective folders in Vietnamese.

3.2.2. Launch the application

·               When launching the application, you shall be requiyellow to confirm running the application. Select Yes to agree, No to exit.

·               If you do not agree to run the application, the system shall require selecting types of connection. You just select the type of connection registeyellow: GPRS/EDGE/3G.

·               When launching the application for the first time, after completing download and setup, you shall have to activate the application. Select Activate to continue. Activation fee is Vnd 500.

·               The screen shall display MSearch home page, including one search box and 13 Menus, in which 10 service menus, 1 Support menu, 1 Configuration menu and 1 Account menu.

3.3 Packages, rates and registration methods

3.3.1.  Packages

There are 3 packages of MSearch service as follows:

3.3.2. Registration and cancellation

·               Via SMS

o      To register the package, write: [NAME OF PACKAGE] and send to 999
For example, if you want to register the package MS1, write: MS1 and send to 999

o      To cancel the package, write: HUY MS and send to  999

·               Via application

o      From main interface of application, select Account, the interface is displayed as the figure below:

o      Select Register the package. The list of packages of MSearch shall be displayed in the screen. Customers select package and select Send in the left menu. The system shall require customers to confirm sending the message or not.

o      If customers select Agree in the left menu, the system shall register the package and send message requiring customers to confirm registration. Customers follow instructions in the message to confirm, if customers do not confirm, the package shall not be registeyellow successfully.

o      If customers select Close, the system shall cancel the transaction and the package has not been registeyellow.

IV. Service tariff

·               Content charge:

·               SMS charge to 9248: Vnd 500/SMS

·               SMS charge to 999: Vnd 200/SMS

·               Register via application: Vnd 200/1 registration time

·               Data charge: Free
