MEDIA CALL

I.   Introduction

Media Call is a video ringtone service that allows you to use multimedia contents: audios, video clips and images as per selected topics instead of normal ringtones when receiving calls. Multimedia contents are updated continuously by the system to your terminal device via GPRS/EDGE/3G.

-       The service is provided by application software installed directly in user's terminal device.

II.   Benefits of service

-       Creating surprising and interesting feelings with different audio, video and image contents in each call.

-       Being exempted from GPRS charge when using Media Call service.

-       You can download images, audio and video to the phone for using after finishing the call

III.   Users and Conditions for using the service

·    Target users: All subscribers using two-way service of MobiFone network.

·    Service conditions

-       You are using Mobile Internet service of MobiFone and under coverage of GPRS/EDGE/3G networks when using the service.

-       Using mobile phones support application software (mobile phones running Symbian and Windows Mobile operating systems). List of supported phone series (click on phone series for more details/See the list attached):

-       Already installed Media Call software in your mobile phone.

IV.   Service instruction

To use the service, please follow these steps:

-       Step 1: Download and install Media Call application on mobile phone.

-       Step 2: Register the application.

-       Step 3: Activate functions of the application.

4.1.  Application download and installation

You can download and install the application by one of the following methods:

Via SMS

-   Compose DL then send to 9246. The system will send back 1 SMS contains the link to download the application.

-   Open the link and follow the instruction to download and install the application on mobile phone.

Via Wapsite

-    Access Wapsite: http://wap.mobifone.com.vn

-    Select Media Call service

-   Click the link to download and install the application following the instruction.

After having installed successfully, icon of the application will appear on mobile screen as follows:

4.2.  Service registration

After starting the software, you will be instructed through registration steps:

- Step 1: Network Connection - Select “Luon cho phep” or “Cho phep 1 lan”

- Step 2: Select APN - Select Mobi-gprs-wap

-    Step 3: Confirm connection to Media Call system – Select “Yes” to confirm

-   Step 4: Confirm service registration (In this step, you will be charged with monthly subscription charge for the service with rate of Vnd 5,000/30 days) - Select “Yes” to confirm

Upon completion of registration, main interface of Media Call will be displayed

4.3.  Service cancellation

To cancel the service, compose HUY send to 9246.

4.4.  Usage

Media Call application includes two main functions:

-         My Jukebox: Installing Video ringtones for subscribers who registeyellow the service.

-         Ring Forward Tone (RFT): Installing Video ringtones for call-receiving subscribers.

4.4.1.  My Jukebox

·         Function description:

o   After activating My Jukebox, you will receive audios, videos or images from Media Call system to replace normal ringtone of the phone each time you receive a call.

o   You can register multimedia content categories as per preference. However, you only can activate one content category at a time. If you have not registeyellow any content category, the system will use default categories for free.

o   When there is a call, the ringtone will be under the content of the category being activated.

·        My Jukebox Installation: From main interface of the application, select Install/My Jukebox

o   Status

-   Activate: Turn My Jukebox function on

-   De-activate: Turn My Jukebox function off

o   Information page

-   Turn on: Display introduction page and download content after each call

-   Turn off: Do not display introduction page and download content after each call

If you turn on the Notification page function, when the call ends the information page will display to invite customers to download content that has just been used as ringtone. Customer can select to download this content to mobile phone or back to homepage.

 

·         Use My Jukebox function

o   Register content categories

-      From main interface of My Jukebox select Applications/Add service package

-      Select the respective categories Audio/Video/Image

-      Select “Yes” to confirm categories registration when the system requires

o   Activate content categories

You can activate only one content category at a time. You can select activated

content categories as follows:

-       From main interface of My JukeBox, select content category that you want to activate

-      Select “Yes” to confirm activation when the system requires.

o   View content in each category

-      From main interface of My JukeBox, select content category that you want to view.

-      Select Application/View list: the list of contents shall be displayed.

o   Cancel content categories

-       From main interface of My JukeBox, select content category that you want to cancel

-       Select Application/Cancel service package

-       Select “Yes” to confirm categories cancellation when the system requires

4.4.2.  Ring Forward Tone

·        Function description: When using the Ring Forward Tone function, you can select ringtone that shall be played on mobile phone of Subscriber A whom you are calling to.

·        Install Ring Forward Tone: From main interface of the application, select Installation/Ring Forward Tone

o   Status

-    Activate: Turn Ring Forward Tone on

-  De-activate: Turn Ring Forward Tone off.

o   Information page

-    Turn on: Display introduction page and download content after each RFT call

  Turn off: Not display introduction page and download content after each RFT call

·         Use Ring Forward Tone function

 

o    Sending invitation for RFT connection

 

 

Before making a call with RFT function, you and Subscriber A need to connect to each other via service system. The connection process is as follow:

-     From main interface of the application, select Ring Forward Tone. If it is the first access, the system shall display notice inviting connection with friends. From next time, to send invitation, just select Application/Send invitation.

 

 

-     To send invitation to subscriber A, you can choose one of the two methods: Open contacts or directly enter subscription number A

 

 

 

-     If it is successful, the screen shall display a notice "Your invitation has been sent successfully”

 

 

o   Accept an invitation for RFT connection:  

-     From main interface of Ring Forward Tone, select Recvd.

-     Select Application/Accept.

-     Select “Yes” to confirm the invitation as the system requires.

 

 

 

o   Make a call with RFT

-     From main interface of Ring Forward Tone, select Actv

-     Select Phone number to which you want to call

-     Select Application/Options and select the content category in the list

-     Select “Yes” to confirm making RFT call when the system requires

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

         

Note: You can only make calls with RFT function to subscribers in your friend list.

     4.4.3.  Basic settings:

From main interface of the application, select Settings/Basic settings

-  Activate when Roaming: Allows using Media Call service when Roaming

 

- Automatic start: Starts Media Call automatically each time the phone is turned on.

V.    Tariff

5.1.  Tariff table

-          Charge for registering/cancelling service package through the application: Vnd 200/time

-          Charge for sending SMS to 9246: Vnd 200/SMS.

-      Charge for downloading application: free

-          Data charge:

o   Exempt domestic data charge.

o   Charging data fee in accordance with current regulations on roaming internationally.

-          Monthly description charge for Media Call: Vnd 5,000/30 days.

-          Charge for making a call with Ring Forward Tone (RFT) is: Vnd 500/each call

5.2.  Charging principles

·     For postpaid subscribers: Subscription and service use charges shall be charged to the monthly bill.

·    For prepaid subscribers

-          Charge for service subscription and making RFT calls, Category registration, downloading contents: Charge to the main account, not to bonus account.

-          Charge for sending SMS to 9246: Charge to the main account. If the bonus account is not enough then the main account shall be charged.

VI.   Other regulations

-          Usage period is 30 days since customer successfully registeyellow the service.

-          Before the usage period expires, the system shall send a noticing SMS and if you do not require Canceling then the system shall renew the service automatically.

-          You can continue using the service when the system charges and renews the service successfully.

-          When the system fails to charge subscription fee (for prepaid subscriber), it shall deactivate your service and charge 3 more times consecutively; each time is one day after the previous time.

§       If the system successfully charges at a T instance, your account shall be charged Vnd 5,000 for a period of T + 30 days.

§       After 3 times of unsuccessful charging, the system shall deactivate your service and you must register again if you want to continue using the service.
