CALL DIVERT SERVICE

 

 

I.        Introduction

Call Divert is a service that enables MobiFone subscribers to divert the incoming call to another subscription number (fixed or mobile) or to voice mailbox.

-     Postpaid subscribers: can divert the incoming call to another subscription number (fixed or mobile) or to voice mailbox in following cases: the phone is busy, turned off, out of coverage, has no answer or diverts all.

-     Prepaid subscribers: are opened the Call Divert service by default to voice mailbox in case the phone is turned off or out of coverage. Prepaid subscribers cannot divert calls to another subscriber in all cases or divert to voice mailbox in other cases (the phone is busy, has no answer and diverts all incoming calls).

3.1.  Service registration

Postpaid subscribers: register at MobiFone shops

Prepaid subscribers: by default can divert calls to voice mailbox in case the phone is turned off or out of coverage. This does not apply for other cases of call diverting.

Note:

- Phone number may be:

o   The number you want to divert calls to: dial all numbers as being implemented when making a call to such number.

o   When diverting a call to voice mailbox, the phone number is the number of voice mailbox:  980

o   The phone number is replaced by a Fax or Data number (if customer wants to divert a Fax or Data call).

-     Postpaid subscriber CANNOT divert calls to any international number.

- It is impossible to perform turn-off command when roaming internationally.

- After going to the Call Divert section, you can select your desired diverting situations.  

-     Diverting the call when there is no answer: if you divert the call by the phone functions then there are some types of phone allowing setting a period of time for ringing before diverting the call.

 IV.   Charging method

4.1.     Registration charge: Free

4.2.     Charge for call diverting

4.2.1.     Charge for call diverting when the subscriber is in Vietnam

a) Diverting calls to the Voice Mailbox: Free of charge for diverting calls to voice mailbox in accordance with current regulation.

b)  Diverting calls to a domestic number (mobile, fixed number). Charge for the call is divided into two parts:

-     The initial part (From the caller A to the call diverting subscriber B): Charge for the call is counted to the caller A as with normal calls from caller A to the call diverting subscriber B with calling time equal to that between subscriber A and the call receiving subscriber C.

-     The diverting part (From the call diverting subscriber B to the receiving subscriber C): Charge for the call is calculated as follows:

·    If the call receiving subscriber C is a prepaid/postpaid mobile subscriber of MobiFone, or a fixed, Cityphone, Gphone, CDMA subscriber of VNPT: free of charge.

·    If the call receiving subscriber C is a mobile subscriber of VinaPhone or of other enterprises (mobile or fixed): charge is counted as with normal calls.

Note:

- Subscriber A: is a domestic or foreign mobile/fixed subscriber.

-     Subscriber B (who uses call divert service): is a postpaid subscriber (MobiGold) of MobiFone.

- Subscriber C (who receives the diverted call): is any domestic mobile/fixed subscriber.

4.2.2.     Charge for call diverting when the subscriber is roaming overseas

When the subscriber roams overseas, the calling charge is indifferent between diverting to voice mailbox or to a domestic subscriber.
